Every morning I wake up and still can´t believe I´m in Nicaragua. All around us the beautiful scenery of green is a feast to the eye. We´ve been here for nearly three weeks now and in that short time we´ve already had so many wonderful experiences. We wake up to a joyous morning of Spanish lessons at La Mariposa, followed by an afternoon activity such as visiting Volcano Masaya.

So far on this trip, living with and learning from my homestay family has been the greatest learning experience. I´ve grown so close to my family that it will be hard to depart on Sunday and move on to our next adventure. I only wish I could give them more than they have given me.
Our journey has just begun and I can´t wait to see what the future holds in the coming weeks.
