Turf house experience
Staying overnight at the turf house was an awesome experience. Hannes and Kristine were the most hospitable people, they were kind and very informational. Hannes has a wealth of knowledge , working with him i could see his passion or turf house building. I believe everyone in the cell group was very thankful for this trip. Some projects we worked on were digging out the foundation of an old barn to use for his new turf house, planting trees in his yard, loading the tractor which was interesting because it was the first time some people have every drove standard!
The first time we walked into the turf house i fell in love with it. The architecture is amazing with the old wood stove. I liked how the bed were in the main area that brought the family together at night. I would love to to build my own turf home some day!
